First- this was vectored, the head, hand, arm, and body were all separate parts that I put together then vectored for the desired effect. I put it in vexel because I used a texture and layer blended it in the background.

I decided not to pursue my only viable skill set because I absolutely hate designing for clients. People never have any idea what they want, and more often than not they ask me to make them something "cool." That means nothing to me. Then when I pull something out of my ass, it's not what they want of course, because they gave me NO direction. And I refuse to keep remaking something over and over on that principle. I also hate that if you're a graphic artist, literally all that's available to you career-wise is the soul-sucking job of advertising. No thank you. I have a problem with how much wasteful packaging takes place in this country, there's no way I'm going to stamp my art on it on it's way to the overflowing landfill.
